Rouzan Vanesian
Rouzan Vanesian is from Armenia, Former USSR. Student of Vache Umur-Shat. After graduating with honor she worked as a piano teacher and accompanist. Her students performed with the Armenian National Symphony and Chamber Orchestras and have competed in the Young Pianist’s National competition and won prizes. She has been teaching for more than 25 years.
Shintaro Yana
Shintaro Yana is from Japan. He graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance. While at UH-Manoa he has studied with Lisa Smith Salkever, and Peter Kun Frary. He has performed in master classes for notable classical guitarists Carlos Barbosa-Lima, Lorenzo Micheli, Andrew Zohn, Margarita Escarpa, and Benjamin Verdery from Yale, which he attend 4 times for his Guitar Master class in Maui. His teachers are Peter Kun Frary, Lisa Smith Salkever, David Grimes, and Bill Kanengiser. He is a founding member and committee of Orange County Guitar Orchestra. His speciality is music from classical and early romantic period.
Silvia Sarkissian
Sylvie Sarkissian is from Georgia, Russia. Her degree is in Music Composition and Theory is from the Tbilisi State Conservatory. After graduation with honors, at the age of 22, Sylvie was offered a teaching position at the Conservatory and accepted it with eager. Sylvie has performed as a concert pianist starting the age of 10.She has more than 20 years of teaching experience.
